Casino Fundraisers - The Fun Way to Fundraise

Having a casino party for your next fundraiser isn't just a great way to raise money... it's fun! Casino parties make your fundraiser come to life and get people excited about coming to your fundraiser.

One common misconception is that a casino fundraiser involves guests playing for real cash at the gaming tables. Unless you have a gaming lisence from your state, that's going to be against the law. So how do you hold a casino fundraiser if guests don't use cash at the tables? Keep reading below to lean how to make sure you're doing everything on the up and up.

Fundraising Option 1 - Entrance Fees:

You can charge each guest at your casino fundraiser an entrance fee to attend the event. This fee is essentially a mandatory donation. The important thing to point out is that you need to make sure you require every guest to pay the entrance fee. You cannot simply charge an entrance fee for those who are gambling. If you only require an entrance fee to play at the casino fundraiser you are likely breaking the law. However, if every guest, regardless of whether they intend to play the casino games, is required to pay the fee to attend the event; that is perfectly acceptable. Give one of our casino specialists a call and we'll be more than happy to talk through some of the details.

Fundraising Option 2 - Get Table Sponsors:

You can go out and get private or corporate sponsors for each of the casino games at your casino fundraiser. You can have different tiers of sponsors. For example, an "Ace Table Sponsor" may cost $1,000 and they are the only sponsor for an entire table with their name and logo appearing prominently. You can also have a "King Table Sponsor" for $500 where two sponsors split the cost of one table.

You can create as many tiers as you would like so that you can find both large and small sponsors for your casino fundraiser. For each tier of sponsors you can also offer other benefits such as free admission to the casino fundraiser, extra "Play Money" for the casino tables, and/or extra raffle tickets for the prize drawing at the end of the night.

Fundraising Option 3 - Do Both!

The most popular option is to both charge guests an entrance fee and seek sponsors for each casino table. This helps bring in the most money because it provides multiple revenue streams for donations.

It is no surprise that casino events are one of the fastest growing ways for organizations to raise money. Give us a call today and we'll help you plan your next casino party fundraiser!
